    The graphic novel’s production and circulation has been playing, over the past few years, an important role in the Spanish literary scenario. Among the various themes composing their narrative matter, the memories of the Spanish Civil War are particularly remarkable. In the present text, we present some notes on the narrative procedures that seem to constitute the main characteristics of this new artistic form of representing the Civil War years and the Francoist dictatorship.

    A produção e circulação do romance gráfico tem conquistado, nos últimos anos, espaço significativo da cena literária espanhola. E dentre os diversos temas que compõem sua matéria narrativa, as memórias da Guerra Civil Espanhola ocupam lugar de destaque. Neste texto, apresentamos considerações sobre procedimentos narrativos que nos parecem constituir algumas das linhas de força dessa nova forma de representação artística dos anos da Guerra e da ditadura franquista.
