    Este artículo explora una réplica poética de Erica Jong a un poema de Nicanor Parra. El hablante del poema “Men” de Jong adopta la postura satírica del hablante del antipoema “Mujeres” para provocar una ruptura de perspectivas. Si el objetivo feminista de Jong es el de subvertir el ácido discurso anti-femenino del neurótico personaje de Parra, su réplica también evidencia la asimetría de género en el contexto de producción cultural y de recepción del antipoema de Parra. Y, aunque se opone a su sexismo, Jong también muestra una valoración sutil de la obra transgresora del escritor masculino.

    This article explores the poetic reply by Erica Jong to a poem written by Nicanor Parra. The poetic self of Jong’s poem - “Men” - adopts the satirical stance of the self in Parra’s poem - “Mujeres” - to introduce a radical alteration of perspectives. While the feminist objective of Jong is to debunk the vitriolic anti-women discourse of Parra’s neurotic character, her reply also reveals the asymmetrical gender context of cultural production and reader reception of Parra’s antipoem. Though she contests his sexism, Jong also shows a nuanced appreciation of the male writer’s nonconformist work.
