Preliminary investigations are not only activities carried out by the Public Prosecutor and criminal police in order to decide if the trial is necessary or not. When taking a look at reality, infact, the scenario is far from the Code’s provisions: when the Prosecutor takes the direction of modern investigative instruments, the future judgment becomes indifferent, since social media has already given its verdict.

Lo stadio delle indagini non è semplicemente un’inchiesta in funzione del giudizio: quando si sperimentano le armi più appuntite, vi si anticipa un verdetto sociale sull’uomo; la sfera individuale, complice la diffusione di notizie riservate, è definitivamente travolta anche se la vicenda si chiudesse con un proscioglimento.
