Resumen de Cultos populares y hermandades en torno al monasterio de las Madres Carmelitas de la Antigua Observancia de Granada

Con este estudio se pretende realizar un breve acercamiento histórico a las hermandades y cofradías cuya sede ha sido el monasterio de madres carmelitas de la antigua observancia de Granada. Igualmente pretendemos mostrar la importancia que desde la fundación de este cenobio, ha tenido la religiosidad popular, algo que se plasmaría en el siglo XVIII, en la creación de una cofradía y una hermandad. No podemos obviar, las devociones arraigadas fruto de bienhechoras, así como las devociones traídas por los capellanes. La restauración de la orden tercera, la fundación de la cofradía del Santo Escapulario o el intento fallido de la hermandad del Santo Cristo serán los ejemplos que mostraremos en torno al siglo XX � XXI. Todo ello marcará una serie de cultos y devociones fuertemente arraigas en los fieles.

This study aims to make a brief historical approach to the brotherhoods whose headquarters was the monastery of Carmelite nuns of the old observance of Granada. Also intend to show the importance of popular piety has had since the founding of this monastery, something that would usher in the eighteenth century, the creation of a brotherhood and a sisterhood. We can not ignore the fruit of beneficent rooted devotions and devotions brought by the chaplains.
