El texto parte de una breve reflexión sobre la relación entre la literatura, el escritor y la política para luego hacer un acercamiento a la novela La vie et demie (1979) de Sony Labou Tansi. En esta obra, el autor plantea su posición frente a la situación poscolonial de su continente, subvirtiendo para ello la perspectiva realista de la literatura africana propia de su época, apropiándose de elementos pertenecientes al canon literario latinoamericano y valiéndose de técnicas narrativas vinculadas con el tiempo que le permitirán igualmente manifestar su postura respecto a la realidad que lo rodea.

Th e article begins with a brief reflection about the relationship between literature, writer and politics to carry out an approach to the novel La vie et demie (1979) by Sony Labou Tansi. In this work, his author sets out his position regarding the post-colonial situation of Africa by subverting the realist perspective of the typical African literature of his period. He also appropriates elements of the Latin American literature canon and he additionally makes use of narrative techniques related to time that help him to express his stance regarding the reality in which he lives.
