    Junto con algunas esculturas devocionales que proclaman su condición de exvoto, este tipo de ofrenda también se manifiesta en una pluralidad de objetos que, aun careciendo de unas cualidades plásticas explícitas, se presentan revestidos de una carga simbólica más que evidente; una peculiaridad que los convierte en parte indisociable del repertorio material que conforma el patrimonio mueble de Tenerife, toda vez que se tornan como referentes para profundizar en las entretelas del complejo universo de expresiones que conforman la religiosidad insular. A su vez, también se testimonia la presencia de algunas obras plásticas de la Isla donde se constata el protagonismo otorgado a este rito.

    Along with some devotional sculptures that proclaiming their status as ex-voto, this kind of offering is also manifest in a plurality of objects that, even without explicit plastic qualities, their appearience its covered by an obvious symbolism; a feature that it makes them a inseparable part in the materials’ repertoire forming the movable heritage of Tenerife, at the same time as they are become as referenceds to deepen in the complex universe of expressions that make up the insular religiouness. Also, there are signs in some plastic works of Tenerife where it confirms the presence of this rite.
