La interpersonalidad en Karol Wojtyla (II)

    Los "filósofos del diálogo" descubrieron, a principios del siglo XX, que para la constitución del yo moderno se requería de la presencia de un tú. El hallazgo de la necesidad del tú abrió distintas posiciones filosóficas: unos sostenían la prioridad del tú sobre el yo; otros la prioridad del nosotros sobre el tú y sobre el yo; otros, finalmente, la prioridad del sujeto personal sobre la relación interpersonal. Este texto pretende exponer cuál es la posición de Wojtyla con respecto a esta cuestión y por qué.

    El filósofo polaco sostine la prioridad del sujeto personal sobre la relación y, a la vez, que el yo se constituye o realiza a sí mismo a través del tú (el varón a través de la mujer y la mujer a través del varón) y en el nosotros. Gracias al hallazgo de la dimensión subjetiva de la persona, Wojtyla descubre categorías tales como "autodeterminación", "autodominio", "autodonación", "psique", "soma", etc., que son constitutivas de la persona y que no podríamos hallar en una antropología que comenzase por el tú o por el nosotros. Además, comenzar por la comunidad parece poner en entredicho la libertad personal.

    Por otro lado, Wojtyla sostiene que el tú y el nosotros son absolutamente necesarios para la plena realización del yo como persona. A través de la acción conjunta (buena) se realiza a sí mismo y, a la vez, a los demás.

    In the early twentieth century, the "philosophers of dialogue" discovered that the constitution of modern self was required the presence of a you. This necessity brought different philosophical views: some philosophers argued, on the one hand, that you had priority over the self; on the other hard, some thinkers said that us had priority over you and I; finally, other people thought that personal subject had priority over interpersonal relationship. This text tries to expose the content of Wojtyla´s position on this issue and displays the reasons maintained by him.

    The Polish philosopher argues about the importance of the personal subject and, at the same time says that the self builds itself with you (the man through the woman through man) and us. Thanks to the discovery of the subjective dimension of the person, Wojtyla discovers categories such as "self-determination", "self-control", "self-giving", "psyche", in an anthropology started with you or us. In addition, if we begin with the community, it seems that personal freedom could be affected.

    Wojtyla argues also that you and us are absolutely necessary for the fulfillment of the self as a person. Through good actions done together self is developed and, simultaneously, the others.
