Resumen de O uso do conceito de ritual nos estudos de comunicação: uma análise das intersecções entre antropologia e teoria da comunicação

  O artigo apresenta um rastreio dos cruzamentos entre antropologia e teoria da comunicação, detendo-se, em particular, em contribuições que resultam do uso do conceito de Ritual. Entendido simultaneamente como um conceito e uma ferramenta analítica, o Ritual está na origem de um vasto e multifacetado campo de estudos dentro da Antropologia e de aplicações fora da disciplina. Especificamente, serão analisados contributos provenientes da teoria da comunicação que definem como “rituais” ou da ordem do “ritual” os fenómenos de comunicação de massa contemporâneos.

  The article presents a tracing of the crossings between anthropology and theory of communication lingering, in particular, on texts where this meeting is focused on the concept of Ritual. Understood simultaneously as a concept and an analytical tool Ritual is in the origin of a vast and multifaceted field of studies inside Anthropology and applications outside the discipline. Specifically they will be analyzed contributions proceeding from the theory of the communication that defines as “ritual” or like “ritual” the contemporary mass communication phenomena.
