  • In the present note we comment on the recent magnetostratigraphy dating aboye the Gauss/Matuyama boundary of the vertebrate locality of Villarroya. This dating is based on its supposed biochronological age and precisely this statement is discussed. Palaeontological data point to an older position below this boundary.
