El presente trabajo se inscribe dentro de una serie de reflexiones cuyo fin es replantear el concepto de Socialismo. Una redefinición que surge a raíz de los cambios que se perciben en este inicio del siglo XXI. La tesis principal es que la idea de justicia que ha promocionado la tradición igualitaria favorece a concepciones de lo justo más claras que aquellas por las que han transitado las de la ideología liberal, y, por tanto, ayudan al mejoramiento de la democracia. Pero si se quiere seguir manteniendo un punto de coherencia marxista (comprender el mundo para transformarlo), la actual reflexión socialista no puede vivir ajena a los cambios que han tenido lugar en los últimos años.

The present work is part of a serial of reflections whose purpose is to redefine the concept of socialism. This redefinition is needed as a result of the changes perceived at the beginning of the 21st century. The main thesis is the idea of justice that has promoted the egalitarian tradition that favors conceptions about the justice more clear than other liberal conceptions. Therefore, this socialist conception helps the improvement of the democracy. But if it is wanted to continue maintaining a point of coherence Marxist (understanding the world in order to transform it), the current Socialist reflection cannot live outside the changes that have been taken place in recent years.
