This article deals with a late-hellenistic house in the city of Glanum (Southern Gaul), the so-called "Maison des Antes". Built in the late second century B.C., this dwelling was occupied until the late third century A.D. The changes that were brought to its original plan in the course of these five centuries, obliterate its first aspect. By using a combination of tectonical and metrological analysis, it is possible to make a thorough reconstruction of the original plan of the house. Moreover, this analysis enables us to make a basic scheme of the house, which can be useful in the theoretical reconstruction of other private buildings in the city of Glanum.
