  • Resumen
    • The present work introduces a boundary element formulation adopting an alternative procedure to remove domain cell discretization commonly used to simulate velocity correcting fields needed to account for potential problems in heterogeneous media via homogeneous fundamental solutions. To this end, an orthogonal moving least square (OMLS), borrowed from recent meshless procedures, is followed. The velocity correcting fields are interpolated using OMLS based on a number of internal points and correct the internal fluxes compensating for the non-homogeneous conductivity of the medium. Two examples are included to assess the correctness of the proposed procedure.
