Acest articol prezinta o sinteza a catorva perspective teoretice semnificative legate de functiile si responsabilitatile parentale, dar si despre relatiile dintre formele familiale, structura familiei de ingrijire, calitatea parentala si bunastarea copilului, existente intr-un numar redus de studii pe aceasta tema.

This article presents a synthesis of some important theoretical perspectives on the parental responsibilities and functions and of the relationships between family forms (two-parent households, single-parent households, stepfamilies, and other living arrangements), parenting quality and children well-being (including physical, emotional, cognitive, moral, and social) existed in few studies.
