      The present article describes two possibilities of planning social intervention, which are the problem-oriented method and the appreciative method. Starting from the SWOT analysis, the model presented can easily be understood and assimilated, due to the clarification of the various approaches to the social reality.

      The example given is a guide to the development of new forms of social planning.
