    The very detailed geomorphological study of an especially interesting valley considering its particular situation allows to show off the existence, in this Southern Vosges of three glaciations very different by their volume and their kins : — Old Quaternary : glaciation of « ice cap » type ; — Riss : glaciation of valley up to 900 m ; — Würm : glaciation muchles important.

    L'étude géomorphologique très détaillée (1 : 10 000) d'une vallée particulièrement intéressante, compte tenu de sa situation privilégiée, a permis de mettre en évidence l'existence, dans cette partie des Vosges méridionales, de trois glaciations très différentes par leur ampleur et leur style : — Quaternaire ancien : glaciation de type ice cap ; — Quaternaire moyen : glaciation de vallées atteignant 900 m d'altitude ; — Quaternaire récent : glaciation de vallée beaucoup plus faible.
