  Se revisa el estado actual del conocimiento del género Chinavia Orian, 1965 en Chile, se aportan nuevos datos de distribución y plantas hospedadoras, se describe Chinavia perezi n. sp. y se incluye una clave para las especies de este género presentes en Chile.

  The knowledge of the Chilean species of the heteropteran genus Chinavia is updated. New data on the distribution and host plants are given. Chinavia perezi sp. n. is described, and a key to the Chilean species of Chinavia is presented.
