    In 2007 and 2013, two archaeological operations were carried out by the INRAP in the camp of German prisoners of Stenay dating from the Second World War. They helped to make several observations on both the substance and the methodology to develop during and after this type of research. In addition, they provide us with new insights into the organization of the camp and the lives of the prisoners.

    En 2007 et 2013, deux opérations archéologiques ont été réalisées par l’Inrap dans le camp de prisonniers allemands de Stenay datant du deuxième conflit mondial. Elles ont permis de faire plusieurs observations tant sur le fond que sur la méthodologie à élaborer pendant et après ce type de fouille. En outre, elles nous apportent un éclairage nouveau sur l’organisation du camp et la vie des prisonniers..
