Resumen de La irrupción del inglés y el Derecho

Este trabajo analizará la (¿repentina?) irrupción del inglés como herramienta de trabajo y como instrumento docente en la Universidad y, concretamente, en los estudios de Derecho. Para ello, se parte de una contextualización general de la internacionalización de las universidades, se repasa el modelo de enseñanza-aprendizaje establecido en el marco del Proceso de Bolonia, se valora la conveniencia de introducir el inglés en la docencia y la administración universitarias y se señalan algunas técnicas que pueden resultar útiles para impartir clases en un idioma que no es el propio y para un auditorio que no tiene el inglés como lengua materna.

This paper will analyzes the (suddenly?) emergence of English as a working tool and as a teaching tool in the University and specifically in legal studies. To do this, the paper starts with a general description of the context in which the internationalization of universities has taken place, it continues with the model of teaching and learning established in the framework of the Bologna Process, proceeds with the critical analisys of the the desirability of introducing English in teaching and university administration and ends with the explanation of some techniques that may be useful to teach in a language that is not their own to an audience that does not have English as their mother tongue.
