    La apertura conceptual a través de la integración de la perspectiva de género en los estudios sobre migración ha permitido visibilizar la migración de las mujeres. Sin embargo, las posibilidades de embarcarse en tal empresa dependerán de las oportunidades y derechos que éstas tengan en cada momento, lugar y cultura, por lo tanto, a pesar de que haya paridad dentro de las migraciones internacionales, la migración africana es principalmente masculina. En este artículo se parte de un enfoque diferente sobre la migración de las mujeres africanas negras en Euskadi. La perspectiva se aleja del habitual retrato de mujeres desvalidas y presenta a unas mujeres fuertes, conscientes de sus desventajas pero con capacidad de transformación política y social. Mujeres que habitan un espacio transnacional y reivindican sus identidades africana y europea.

    Genero ikuspegia migrazio ikasketetan integratzeak ekarri duen zabalkuntza kontzeptualak emakumeen migrazioa ikusaraztea ahalbidetu du. Hala ere, halako zeregina aurrera ateratzea, emakumeek une, toki eta kultura bakoitzean dituzten eskubide eta aukerek baldintzaturik egongo da. Beraz, nahiz eta nazioarteko migrazioetan berdintasuna eman, Afrikako migrazioa nagusiki gizonezkoena da. Artikulu honetan Euskadiko emakume afrikar beltzei buruzko abiapuntua eta ikuspegia bestelakoa da. Ikuspuntu hori ohikoa den emakume babesgabearenaren erretratutik aldentzen da. Emakume indartsuak erakusten ditu, bere desanbaitaletaz jabetuak baina eraldaketa politiko eta sozialerako gaitasuna dutenak. Espazio transnazionalean bizi diren emakumeak eta bere identitate afrikarra eta europarra aldarrikatzen dutenak.

    The integration of the gender perspective in migration studies has allowed the migration of women to become visible. However, the possibilities of embarking on such a venture depend on the opportunities and rights that these women have with regards to their current situation, place and culture which is why, despite parity within international migration, African migration is mainly male. This paper approaches the migration of black African women in the Basque Country differently. It distances itself from the usual portrait of helpless women and presents a picture of strong women conscious of their disadvantages but with the capacity for political and social change; women who live in a transnational space and assert their African and European identities.
