Resumen de El convertidor hidrodinámico de par: curvas características, propiedades y aplicaciones

Karl Otto Dahler

  • The working of the hydrodynamic converters, which is basically different to the corresponding to the other types specially the mechanic ones, can be compared with the working of a direct current electric transmission obtained by combination of a generator and a motor. The most important distinctive characteristic of the converter when compared to the other transformers without staggering is the power curve, by means of which it is possible to study in the primary characteristic field, its idoneity for a given motor. In order to achieve a more complete general understanding of the application possibilities of the converters the classification the most important and useful is that relative to the method of working, considering the different constructive modalities. A definitive evaluation will be only possible if it is considered in its enterity the working system of the motor-converter in the primary characteristic field and if it is studied the resulting secondary field in function of the torque conversion in comparison with the working conditions of the utilized machine.
