  • The Lower Saxon Ministry for Economic Affairs and Transport has called in a working group of the Rheinland and Hannover TUV’s (authorized inspection agency) for analyzing the safety of the Emsland Transrapid test facility.

    The activities of the two TUV’s cover safety requirements to be observed during the development phase, quality assurance, supervision of construction work and placing into operation of components relevant to safety.

    The goal of the appraisal activities is to verify that the TVE is safe for operation and transport.
