Resumen de Transrapid 06: proyecto del vehículo

• Since 1969 the electromagnetic levitation, guidance and propulsion principle has been developed systematically and intensely as technology for a track bound high-speed ground transportation system.

  In this connection the objectives of development are:

  -Short traveling times -High productivity and economy of operation -Environmental compatibility -Safety The concept of the vehicle Transrapid 06 is based on existing theoretical and experimental experience. It is currently under construction.

  By means of practical, operational tests it has to be proved that the targets can be reached.

  The present report describes the basic concept of the vehicle including the subsystems: structure, levitation –and guidance system, power supply, on-board control and monitoring.
