  • The properties of maglev train system are derived from the principles of magnetic levitation and guidance and of the electric linear motor.

    The paper reports on the development program and its essential milestones. Brief mention is made of the attendant technology and study program. In conclusion, and outlook is given on the outstanding steps of the program.
