    En este trabajo se presenta un estudio descriptivo para conocer los efectos del ruido en los jóvenes que han adoptado como estilo de ocio la participación en eventos ruidosos relacionados con la música (ruido de ocio). Donde, habitualmente, se alcanzan niveles de intensidad sonora superiores a los 90 dB, con el consiguiente riesgo para la salud y el bienestar psicológico de los asistentes.

    La muestra estaba compuesta por 201 participantes pertenecientes a poblaciones rurales y urbanas. En general, los datos han revelado que hay diferencias significativas respecto a la sensibilidad al ruido y a las molestias entre los dos subgrupos. Los participantes más sensibles al ruido manifiestan más molestias como consecuencia de la exposición a la contaminación acústica. Por otra parte, se ha encontrado una correlación positiva entre los efectos psico-fisiológicos percibidos por los participantes, las molestias ocasionadas por el ruido, la sensibilidad al ruido y la participación en eventos musicales ruidosos.

    In this work one presents a descriptive study to know the effects of the noise of the young persons that they have adopted as style of leisure, the participation in noisy events related to the music (noise of leisure). Where, habitually, there are reached levels of sonorous intensity superior to the 90 dB, with the consequent risk for the health and the psychological well-being of the assistants.

    The sample was composed by 201 participants belonging to rural and urban populations. In general, the information has revealed that there are significant differences with regard to the sensibility to the noise and to the inconveniences between both subgroups. The participants most sensitive to the noise demonstrate the inconveniences as consequence of the exhibition to the acoustic pollution.

    On the other hand, one has found a positive correlation between the psycho-physiological effects perceived by the participants, the inconveniences caused by the noise, the sensibility to the noise and the participation in musical noise events
