Resumen de De la aventura a la autobiografía: crisis del realismo y crisis del yo en la historieta

La historieta autobiográfica se constituyó como un género de importancia en el campo de la historieta hacia fines del siglo XX. El objetivo del presente trabajo es examinar el modo en que la historieta en tanto que lenguaje puede construir la imagen de un “yo”, en la medida en que no trabaja sólo con una materia verbal y no puede utilizar un sistema de deícticos como el de la lengua. Se examina la noción de “realismo” y las dificultades históricas y semióticas de la historieta a la hora de proponer obras realistas, puesto que se considera que el problema de la autobiografía es un problema de representación. Se examinan historietas del humorista gráfico argentino Liniers. Se propone que todo cómic exhibe su propia construcción, lo que vuelve imposible el realismo. Esa exhibición constituye, sin embargo, el momento de máxima autenticidad, puesto que es cuando se muestra la instancia de enunciación.

The autobiographical comic was established as a genre of importance in the late twentieth century. The aim of this paper is to examine how the comic can build as language the image of an "ego", to the extent that it does not work only with a verbal material and cannot use a deictic system. The notion of "realism" and the historical and semiotic difficulties when proposing realistic works is examined, since it is considered that the problem of autobiography is a problem of representation. In this article we do examine the work of the Argentinean comic cartoonist Liniers. It is proposed that all comics exhibit its own construction, which makes impossible a realism approach. This exhibition is, however, the moment of maximum authenticity, since it is when the instance of enunciation is shown.
