    El extensivo uso de estrategias participativas y su transformación en un eslogan políticamente correcto han hecho que este concepto pierda fuerza; sin embargo, aún existen potenciales a explorar cuando superamos la mera retórica participativa. Desde esa vereda, este texto argumenta que las intervenciones temporales que permiten la participación favorecen la cohesión social, pues al co-producir el mundo las personas pueden valorar la diversidad y, en palabras de Latour, pueden también 'aprender a conmoverse'.

    The extensive use of participatory strategies and theirtransformation into politically correct slogans havemade this concept lose its strength; however, there is still unexplored potential when we overcome the mere participative rhetoric. From that path, this article argues that temporary interventions that encourage participation favor social cohesion, because as they co-produce the world people tend to value diversity and, in the words of Latour, can also �learn to be moved�.
