  • The modern Telemand Centers are equipped with installations of trains dispatching constituted in base to the announcement of trains number. These installations help to the circulation chiefs to identify the trains that are in the action radio of the Telemand center to their charge.

    The complete modification or the installations of the railway knot of OLTEN (intersection of the north-south and Eastwest exle of Switzerland), so as the creation of a Telemand center with an extensive action area, has cause a new study of the installations for the announcement of the train number available in the market. The existing systems are done in cabled technique, either by relex, or by electronics sometimes with ferrites memories. The slowness, the heaviness and the low reliability of these installations have demonstrated the necessity to create a more modern system from the technological point of view and more comfortable from the exploitation point of view. As consequence a microprocessing system has been developed, with a capacity to offer a big operating and adaptation flexibility to posterior modifications.

    This modification describes the main installation characteristics, so as its operating form, marking the importance of the advantages that bring the solution based in microprocessing over the conventional alternative systems.
