Feminismo.com: O movimento feminista na sociedade em rede

    A internet tem, de diversas maneiras, reconfigurado a forma como os movimentos sociais se relacionam, tanto entre si quanto com a sociedade. Um movimento que, cada vez mais, tem se utilizado da tecnologia para divulgar suas pautas e reivindicações é o feminista, na medida em que muitas das suas atuais discussões passam pelo ciberespaço. O presente trabalho objetiva verificar como se dá a apropriação das novas tecnologias, especialmente a internet, pelo movimento feminista. Para tanto, optou-se pelo método de abordagem dedutivo, em conjunto com a técnica de pesquisa bibliográfica, por meio da análise doutrinária sobre o tema, bem como observação não participativa das plataformas online utilizadas pelo movimento. Ao final, concluiu-se que o espaço livre de ideias advindo da internet propicia ao movimento feminista uma ampliação do debate e da troca de ideias, trazendo reflexos da sua estruturação na rede para a ocupação do espaço urbano. Assim, pode-se dizer que o feminismo já está percebendo a relevância das tecnologias da informação e comunicação para gerar uma ação transformadora, que desafia as instituições tradicionais, ainda muito marcadas pela cultura machista e patriarcal, em prol de uma sociedade mais humana e igualitária.

    The internet has, in many ways, reconfigured how social movements are related, among themselves and with society. A movement that has been using the technology to promote their agendas and grievances is the feminist, with current discussions through cyberspace. Therefore, this paper aims to verify how is the appropriation of new technologies, especially the internet, by the feminist movement. It was used a deductive approach, along with bibliographic research, through doctrinal analysis on the topic, as well as non-participant observation of online platforms used by the movement. At the end, it was concluded that the free space of ideas from the internet provides to the feminist movement an extension of the debate and exchange of ideas, bringing reflections of the network structure to the occupation of urban space. Thus, it’s possible to affirm that feminism is now realizing the importance of technologies of information and communication to generate transformative action that challenges traditional institutions, still marked by very sexist and patriarchal culture, in favor of a more human and egalitarian society.
