    Diversos estudios concluyen que hay poco vínculo entre la investigación científica y la formación universitaria. La literatura reporta que no necesariamente aprobar cursos es lo mismo que saber investigar. Se proveen reflexiones sobre la eficacia de los procesos de formación del futuro investigador. El objetivo es aportar insumos para una mejor comprensión del saber investigar en el ámbito de la ingeniería, a partir de ese saber escribir que es indivisible de otros saberes. El artículo de revisión sistemática es propuesto como posible medio de transformación del individuo, de generación de conocimiento y de producción investigativa; todos ellos, sin considerarse una meta, sino más un proceso a lo largo de la vida.

    Several studies conclude that the relationship between scientific research and university education is weak. It�s been documented that "getting passing grades" does not necessarily lead to "research know-how." Reflections on the effectiveness of the processes involved in the development of future researchers are provided. The aim is to bring insight to better understanding "research know-how" in the field of engineering, by means of "the knowledge of writing", which is indivisible from other forms of knowledge. The systematic review article is proposed as a possible vehicle for individual transformation, knowledge generation and research output. All of which together must be considered a life-long means rather than an end goal.
