  Por meio de uma metodologia de pesquisa descritiva e dedutiva, busca-se explicitar as tatuagens na gangue russa Vor v Zakone. Delineia um breve escorço histórico da tatuagem pelas culturas: surgimento, evolução dos meios para marcar o corpo e razões por trás da arte de se tatuar, mencionando as tatuagens no mundo criminal russo. Ao tecer a evolução histórica da Rússia, focando na Revolução Russa de 1917, abre espaço para a discussão das gulags e, por fim, o surgimento da gangue russa. O último capítulo visa a análise das tatuagens dos vory, expondo as mais conhecidas e as classificando de forma simplificada. O objetivo da pesquisa é investigar a linguagem codificada neste mundo de criminalidade, bem como a relação entre os crimes praticados e os símbolos tatuados.

  Through a descriptive and deductive methodology, aim to explain the importance of the Russian gang tattoos Vor v Zakone. Outlines a brief historical foreshortening of tattooing through cultures: emerge, evolution of methods for marking the body and reasons behind the tattoo’s art, mentioning the tattoos in the criminal Russian world. When weaving the historical evolution of Russia, focusing on the Russian Revolution of 1917, opens space for discussion of the gulags and, finally, the emergence of the Russian gang. The last chapter concerns the analysis of the vory’s tattoos, exposing the most known and classifying them in a simplified manner. The objective of the research is to investigate the coded language in this world of crime as well as the relationship between the crimes charged and the tattooed symbols.
