    In this article, the author intends to research the characteristics of inhibition: its intersection with anxiety and with the symptom, its connections to wishing. Special attention is given to emphasize the paralysis that can appear in face of the Other’s wish.

    Este trabalho tem por objetivo pesquisar as características da inibição, suas interfaces com a angústia, o sintoma e a articulação com o desejo, ressaltando a paralisação que pode advir em face do encontro enigmático com o desejo do Outro.
