  • The article discusses the issue of financial crises and bankruptcy in Greece, focusing on the median income, unemployed labor, and capital outflow. It states that Greece should have avoided being part of the European Union (EU) as it failed to meet the criteria of EU's Maastricht Treaty. Topics discussed are inefficiency in Greece's state bureaucracy, funds received from European partners, free trade, and the rise of Greece's socialist party Syriza. It is noted that the creators of EU had also compelled its nations to give up their sovereignty.
