Resumen de A late fifteenth-century Portuguese plainchant treatise
This articles edits a recently discovered two-part plainchant Portuguese treatise, dated from the year 1494, found in Cód. CXIII/1-40 of the Biblioteca Pública in Évora, Portugal.
The combined texts represent the earliest known Portuguese vernacular manual on plainchant and reveal much in common with earlier 15th-century Spanish plainchant treatises.
