Resumen de Un enfoque polisistémicu a la traducción n’asturianu: normes y estratexes

  La traducción va siendo una actividá con una función cultural clara y con un papel fundamental pa normalizar l’usu d’una llingua a lo llargo de la historia. Nesti sen, un breve recorríu xeneral pelos distintos periodos describe la traducción como axente cultural, daqué que tovía güei ye pertinente nel casu de les llingües minorizaes como l’asturianu. En segundu llugar, los Estudios de Traducción planteguen abondos modelos teóricos y descriptivos que permiten entamar l’análisis de la torna nel polisistema asturianu. Per un llau, introduciremos el conceutu de polisistema d’Itamar Even-Zohar y el de norma de Gideon Toury (1980, 1995), que fadrá posible asitiar la situación de la torna del asturianu y al asturianu nel contestu d’anguaño. Per otru llau, preséntase la situación de la traducción al asturianu dientro del polisistema actual al traviés de los estudios fechos hasta la fecha. A la fin, del estudiu realizáu despriéndese un plan d’actuación y una fixación d’estratexes que suponen un esbozu de los próximos pasos que se debieren dar pa cola traducción y la llingua asturiana.

  Translation has been an activity with a manifest cultural function and has played a major role in the normalisation of a language use throughout history.

  Therefore, a brief and general account through different periods will describe translation as a cultural agent, which is still relevant nowadays in the case of minor languages such as Asturian. Secondly, Translation Studies offer various theoretical and descriptive models which allow the analysis of translation activities in the Asturian polysystem. On the one hand, Even Zohar’s concept of polysystem and Toury’s notion of norm (1995) will be used to understand the situation of translation into and from Asturian at present. On the other hand, several studies on translation in Asturias, from a diachronic and a synchronic perspective, will provide an overview of translation activities in this polysytem. Finally, an action plan and some strategies will be suggested in order to promote translation and contribute to the normalization of Asturian language
