El trabajo da a conocer una carta de Wolfgang Köhler a José Germain, escrita en 1950, en la que se maniBesta el interés y el conocimiento que el primero poseía de la psicología y cultura españolas. Su autor conoce y estima la obra y Bgura del psicólogo J. Germain, así como las del Blósofo J. Ortega y Gasset y del neuroBsiólogo Justo Gonzalo. También se hallan datos acerca de los intereses cientíBcos de Köhler en la época en que escribe la mencionada carta. En el artículo se ofrecen informaciones que permiten comprender en profundidad el texto epistolar que ahora se publica.
