The objective of this text is to explore the concept of repetition in psychoanalysis. To further better comprehension of this concept, the author investigates the matter in both Freud’s and Lacan’s works, looking for a wider vision of this concept that is fundamental theoretically and even more so in clinical practice.

O objetivo deste trabalho é explorar o conceito de repetição em psicanálise. Para tanto, o autor faz uma investigação do tema em Freud e Lacan procurando obter uma visão mais abrangente deste conceito que é fundamental para a teoria e, principalmente, para prática clínica.
