    In the article A Project for a Scientific Psychology, Freud describes the structure of the psychic apparatus ranging from the newborn's screams to the socially shared words, identifying the sonorous representation as a privileged link to the wish object at the point of origin of drive. The talk sounds that escape from word representation interfere in the semantics of the discourse and thoughts, being part of a constant interplay in the search of wish-fulfillment. Some of these representations can be translated by the very logic of musical language.

    No Projeto para uma Psicologia Científica, Freud descreve a estruturação do aparelho psíquico a partir do grito do recém-nascido até a palavra socialmente compartilhada, identificando a representação sonora como elo privilegiado com o objeto de desejo na origem das pulsões. Os sons da fala que escapam à representação de palavra interferem na semântica do discurso e do pensamento, em um constante jogo pela busca da satisfação do desejo. Algumas dessas representações podem ser traduzidas pela lógica própria da linguagem musical.
