O turismo pedagógico como indutor de lugares identitários para reconhecer, interpretar e preservar

    This work is the result of the experiences during the stages of the project ‘Educational Tourism: An open door for inclusive education’, Department of Tourism, developed by the Dean of Extension, Federal University of Ouro Preto.

    Among the objectives of the project stands out the offer of interpretive paths of everyday life and different modalities of perception and interpretation of sensory heritage itineraries, aiming to sensitize students to the need for a co-responsibility for the preservation of the cultural landscape, experiencing details of the places’ soul, usually rendered ‘invisible’ in the midst of the urban routine and time. The methodology used was an exploratory research based on spatial explanation, intervention research and study of the environment. Thus, the project used workshops and semi-structured itineraries with dates and pre-established groups. As a result, the research facilitated the recognition and socio-cultural and spatial revaluation of the City Cultural Heritage of Humanity, with a strong focus on the full exercise of citizenship.

    Este trabalho é o resultado das experiências vivenciadas durante as etapas do Projeto ‘Turismo pedagógico:

    uma porta aberta para a educação inclusiva’1, do Departamento de Turismo, desenvolvido junto à Pró-Reitoria de Extensão, da Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto. Entre os objetivos do projeto, destaca-se a oferta de roteiros sensoriais interpretativos por percursos da vida quotidiana e modalidades diferenciadas de perceção e interpretação do património, visando sensibilizar estudantes para a necessidade da sua corresponsabilidade pela preservação da paisagem cultural, vivenciando detalhes da alma dos lugares, geralmente tornados ‘invisíveis’ no meio da rotina e do tempo urbanos. A metodologia utilizada foi a pesquisa exploratória baseada na explanação espacial, pesquisa-intervenção e o estudo do meio. Para tanto, o projeto utilizou oficinas e roteiros semiestruturados, com datas e grupos pré-estabelecidos. Como resultados, propiciou o reconhecimento e a revalorização sociocultural e espacial da Cidade Património Cultural da Humanidade, com forte incidência sobre o exercício pleno da cidadania.
