Resumen de El otro lado de los bombardeos en la Guerra Civil española: un proyecto de investigación sobre los ataques aéreos de la aviación republicana sobre la retaguardia sublevada

La preferencia de la historiografía por estudiar las acciones de bombardeo insurgentes sobre la retaguardia republicana, hace necesario dirigir la mirada hacia la actuación de la Aviación republicana. En este sentido, uno de los primeros puntos a estudiar en la tesis será la manera en la que estos postulados sobre la guerra total llegaron a España y cómo fueron aplicados antes del golpe de Estado. La responsabilidad será otro de los elementos a tratar, para averiguar los actores que participaron en estas acciones y las funciones que tuvieron en ellas. Señalar que se realizará un análisis del discurso para analizar sus componentes y poder comprender la forma en la que los contendientes representaban los bombardeos. Asimismo, se llevará a cabo una investigación sobre las consecuencias de esta nueva forma de hacer la guerra, lo que permitirá observar si realmente tenían algún efecto en la población atacada. Por último, se introducirá la dimensión memorística de los bombardeos, con el objetivo de investigar el modo en el que estos hechos se representaron en el imaginario colectivo.

The historiography preferences to study the insurgent aerial bombing of the republican rearguard, makes necessary to look into the performance of the republican aviation. In this regard, one of the first points to study in the project will be the process through which these total war methods came to Spain and how it had been applied before the outbreak of the Spanish Civil War. The responsibility will be another of the elements of the project, in the way to ascertain how the contenders represented the bombardments. Likewise, will be fulfilled a investigation of the consequences of this new mode of warfare, which will be allowed to observe if they actually had done some effect in the people attacked. Finally, memory dimension of the bombing will be examined, with the aim to investigate the procedure these episodes were represented in the collective imagination.
