Resumen de Un paralelismo acadio del mito de Faetón

La cuenca del Mediterráneo fue el lugar en el que se encontraron el Cercano Oriente Próximo y el Occidente Clásico, un lugar donde la frescura y sencillez del mundo oriental pudo aunarse con la imaginación reflexiva del mundo clásico. Divinidades como Inanna, Enlil o Enki y personajes como Gilgamesh, Adapa o Atramhasis encontraron su contrapartida al otro lado del mar. En nuestro trabajo proponemos un nuevo paralelismo no estudiado hasta ahora: la historia de Adapa y su réplica clásica en el mito de Faetón.

The Mediterranean basin was the space where the meeting between the Ancien Near East and the Classic West took place, a place where the freshness and simplicity of the oriental world could combine with the reflective imagination of the classic world. Deities like Inanna, Enlil or Enki and outstanding figures like Gilgamesh, Adapa or Atramhasis found their counterpart across the sea. In our paper we propose a new parallelism not studied till now: Adapa�s story and his classic counterpart in the myth of Phaeton.
