    • The article discusses economic development strategies that could be adopted by the Russian government to initiate growth amid challenges it is facing including corruption, low oil and gas prices and Western sanctions. Topics discussed include three major obstacles facing the Russian economy including corruption and weak rule of law, growth from continuing austerity policies adopted by the government, and factors that could drive economic growth in the country.
