The case of Mexico offers an interesting example in the analysis of the evolution of regional disparities in developing countries thet have changed their policies from those of a state-led economy to those of economic liberalization and trade openness in the 1980s. The purpose of this paper is to focus on aspects derived from convergence and divergence, determining the dynamics and their determinants among regions in Mexico. Is doing so, we shall determine the standard Beta and Omega convergence.
