The investigation reviews the suject of intestability, which - read according to the sources analyzed - seems to find in the loss of fides and "word" the cornerstone around which both the decemvirate law-maker and the lawyeres between Antonino and the Severis, both the emperors of the IV and V centuries AD, and finally Justinian and with him Theophilus, ruled the application of the sanction.
