  • The article discusses the global impact of the Sunni terrorist organizations the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) and Al Qaeda and the terrorist organizations affiliated with them, including the terrorist attacks against Western countries' interests and Nigerian terrorist organization Boko Haram. An overview of ISIS's base of operations in Iraq and Syria is provided.
