    Although Literary Studies benefit from strengthening their ties with Linguistics, the reverse isn’t true. This contributes to the emancipation of this discipline from ordinary positivism, and incites it to redefine its units and to take into account the textual dimension of its empirical objects. This discipline thus revives its ties with philology and hermeneutics, along with the initial project of a nobly auxiliary discipline attached to the reading of texts. This study underlines the theoretical and descriptive stakes of a knowledge so objectivised of literature.

    Si les études littéraires gagnent à resserrer leurs liens avec la linguistique, la réciproque n’est pas moins vraie. Cela contribue à émanciper cette discipline du positivisme ordinaire, l’engage à redéfinir ses unités et à prendre à considération la dimension textuelle de ses objets empiriques. Elle renoue ainsi avec la philologie et l’herméneutique, ainsi qu’avec le projet initial d’une discipline noblement auxiliaire attachée à la lecture des textes. Cette étude souligne les enjeux théoriques et descriptifs d’une connaissance ainsi objectivée de la littérature.
