  El objetivo principal de este artículo es presentar los documentos del archivo capitular de Salamanca relativos a las primeras imprentas salmantinas y contribuir a la solución de la «misteriosa» cuestión del anonimato de sus dueños, al conocimiento de los libreros de la primera época y al oscuro papel de Nebrija en este asunto.

  The principal aims of this article are to publish documents found in the chapter archive of Salamanca Cathedral concerned with early printing workshops in that city, and to help to answer the hitherto «mysterious» question of who their owners were. It also provides information about early booksellers in the city and the obscure role Nebrija played in the world of the book there.
