    Teniendo en consideración los diferentes códices de la obra alfonsí de las Cantigas de Santa María, este trabajo quiere resaltar la importancia que la incorporación de la miniatura tuvo en el Códice Rico y cómo repercutió este gran conjunto pictórico en la reestructuración de la edición previa –el Códice Toledano– y de la tercera edición –el Códice de los Músicos–.

    Considering the different codices of the Alphonsine Cantigas de Santa María, the aim of the study is to underline the significance of the inclusión of miniatures in the Rich Codex, as well as highlighting the impact of this important pictorial work on the re-organisation of the previous edition (Toledan Codex) and the third edition (Musicians Codex).
