    El presente artículo plantea el debate de la muerte y retorno del autor, para lo cual pone en discusión dos posiciones filosóficas: Sartre y Foucault. El primero representa las filosofías del sujeto; el segundo, las derivas que sostienen la desaparición del autor. En este artículo se sostiene que, si bien sus posiciones son antagónicas, también pueden proporcionar elementos para repensar la función política del escritor.

    The present article raises the debate of death and return of the author. For which it puts in discussion two philosophical positions: Sartre and Foucault. The first one represents the philosophies of the subject; the second one, the drifts that support the disappearance of the author. Nevertheless, this article argues that while their positions are antagonistic, they can also provide elements to rethink the political role of the writer.
