Resumen de Instalaciones de climatización en coches de viajeros

Heberhard Bayer, Rudolf Gassner

  • In this article, the climatisation equipment of the EUROFIMA passenger coach is described. This equipment is formed by an treatment unit, a compressor-condenser set with refrigeration groups, and temperature regulation systems.

The air treatment unit gathers heating, refrigeration and air dehydration devices.

The fresh air is pushed towards the heating lining getting though the heating resistances, and alternately, towards the refrigeration lining getting through the refrigerator. In this way, two different temperature air current are send. The air channels pass across all the compartments, where there is a combination device adjustable by the passenger.

A distributor regulates the air temperature in the heating air and cooling air linings, depending on external temperature. This unit carries out the functions of detection, emission of operational orders and regulation.

The heating and refrigerator equipment operational orders are given out from measured temperature data through a comparator and four regulator circuits.

The regulator also realizes the functions of performance supervision, protection, indication of parameters and alarm releasing in trouble situations.
