  • Resumen
    • The energy input in form of fuel for transport is obvious but the transport sector does not only consume energy in this form also the vehicle acquisition and substructure construction involve an expense of energy reserves. In the case of Venezuela, this relation is particularly taken into account, because the energy resources export is the principal financing source for substructure and mobile equipment.

It can be considered that all transport processes are made up for three basic elements: substructure, park and operation.

The substructure and park (transport vehicles) are made by the mankind, starting from some natural resources on which a transforming energy is incorporated according to the basis of a technology made by the man himself.

In operation, using of energy is more obvious and technology is also used, for example for traffic rationalization and safety, freight operation optimization and to activate passenger movement.

In this article, a global methodology to analyse the interrelations energy-technology-transport on their several components, in the particular condition of Venezuela, is proposed. The probable evolution from the present situation to next time is considered, and finally, the prior activity areas oriented to the optimization of energy reserve consumption on the transport sector are defined.
